PMGC has had control issues with ASW for many years, even with an extended insecticide programme. Now our EN programme is in place I feel like we can push our greens to produce better surfaces and promote the bent grass population without… ...Read More

OCP Biologicals fuses local knowhow with German technology

Soil without microbes is like a motor without fuel, it just won’t go. And just like a motor the sort of fuel you put into your soil can have a huge effect on the performance of your turf. Adding nutrient is only one part of the fuel mix, you need good biology as a catalyst to make things happen. Good soil biology is created naturally simply by leaving the soil alone and letting nature do its thing. However intensive turf management does not lend itself to letting nature run wild. The cultural practices of renovation, using high analysis fertilisers, fumigants… ...Read More

LT Queensland launch

Although Living Turf has been servicing the Queensland market for almost 2 years now, we decided it was time to formally introduce ourselves. Gathering the Living Turf team, key suppliers and over a 100 of Queensland' turf professionals, we kicked off a more formal launch with a Sportsturf Seminar held at Eagle Farm Racecourse just over a fortnight ago. With a busy morning schedule of tech talks, a  breezy chat from Darryl Brohman lightened the mood and made for a well balanced program. Rugby League legend and The Foot Show Panelist, Daryl finished off a great morning taking questions from the… ...Read More
