Matthew Lane joined Living Turf in 2023, bringing with him over 12 years of experience in turf management. Starting his apprenticeship in 2010 at the Western Australian Cricket Association saw Matthew being involved in maintaining the high-performance training and playing cricket facilities for the WACA. He has prepared the surfaces for high profile sporting fixtures such as the Vodafone Ashes Test Series, Big Bash League and Sheffield Shield as well as other sporting codes – AFL, Soccer, Rugby, Tennis and Hockey.

More recently, Matthew has worked as the Facilities Grounds Co-ordinator at Scotch College, and has also been lecturing in Sports Turf Management at South Metropolitan TAFE.
