About the A-LIST Alliance for Low Input Sustainable Turf 

Headquartered in the heart of Oregon’s Willamette Valley seed production region, A-LIST is a not-for-profit association comprised of universities and industry companies serving to test, identify, and promote grass varieties that combine high turf quality and low-input performance. Products that meet the acceptance criteria are allowed to utilise the A-LIST symbol and the A-LIST approved tag on packaging. Transparent testing protocols verify turfgrass varieties that require less water, fertiliser and chemicals.
 
The A-List Alliance, formed by five U.S. seed breeding companies, reward cultivars from NTEP trials that demonstrate exceptional resilience. They enlisted university evaluators that include Purdue University, North Carolina State, & Michigan State. These institutions are recognised for their accurate and independent testing, and have been instrumental in refining the A-List protocols.
